Hobbywing's Tunalyzer is a new tool for brushless motor analysis. MANY of the features introduced by Motolyser motor tool (I have three of these for my shop). Testing Details: My order arrived earlier this week and Hobbywing has delivered a good-looking unit. High quality wiring (color coded) comes with a tangle free containment wrap. The entire unit, wiring, instructions, etc. comes in its own zippered hard-shell case for great protection in your pit box. Connects easily to your power source (2S LiPo pack) or well-regulated power supply. I tested a variety of 2 pole and 4 pole motors and the unit worked well with more data available than a typical motor analyzer, such as a rotor asymmetry reading and Hall Signal deviation. Nice color display is easy to read and touch sensitive screen is very responsive. The automated motor test was different, as the tested motor cycled through three accelerations before test results are displayed. Not a problem, but make sure your test motor is held down! Being able to test low wind motors such as 3.0t drag tests are easier as the box allows setting to a lower test voltage to prevent big RPM spikes. Be aware that power readings (amps) read higher than my much more expensive motor testers I rely on for my tuning and testing; you will need to re-catalog your motors to have a new 'feel' for how the motor consumes power. Nice solid unit for motor evaluation. For 2 or more pole motors.
HOBBYWING Tunalyzer is used to test the brushless DC motor and its internal components. It can measure the Kv value, rpm, current, end-bell timing, and sensor elements of the brushless motor. These parameters can be displayed on the LCD in real time so that you can have an intuitive and full understanding of the motor used.
In addition, the built-in Bluetooth of the Tunalyzer can establish communication with your HOBBYWING ESC through the mobile phone app to realize the parameter setting and firmware updating of the ESC
- Measure motor Current / Kv value/Rpm, End-bell timing / Deviation, Rotor asymmetry, Hall signal deviation, and motor temperature.
- Set and upgrade the ESC (which can support the OTA Bluetooth module)
