Normally run a 8.0, but wanted to try the Talon 8.5. Small bullring oval with really high grip. Talon was smoother than our r7 8.0 and top end didn’t disappoint. A++++

Fabulous fan mount
The factory fanmount was okay if you're running a 30mm fan, I guess, but I wanted to use a 40mm because sometimes my local track runs some 100 lap features and it seemed too big and un-steady on the little mount.
So I bought one of the "Rocket" fan mounts from Team Powers, and it's just awesome and really sturdy. Did a 12 flip end-over-end crash a few weeks ago, thought for sure I'd have knocked half of everything loose or broken in the car - and the Rocket fanmount came through with flying colors. Not a crack, nick, or scratch.
Plus it's spaced to give a little extra room on top of the motor, which makes it easier to solder motor wires when doing a motor change.
Have since purchased two more.
