Our newest competition motors for 2026, the TALON series, deliver the next evolution in speed, power, and ultra-smooth torque response. Engineered for elite 1/10th scale RC racing, TALON motors feature refined stator geometry, enhanced rotor balance, and optimized sensor timing—giving you razor-sharp throttle control and explosive acceleration out of every corner.

And this year, TALON carries more than just performance upgrades—it carries a legacy. We lost one of our fastest and most passionate team racers, Bob “Bullet” Light, in May 2024. To honor him, every TALON motor features custom graphics inspired by Bob’s signature car colors, along with his name etched into the design. It’s more than a tribute—it’s a reminder of the spirit, speed, dedication, and many championship experiences he brought to every race.

With every new motor edition, I focus on improving what the last generation couldn’t quite nail. For TALON, the mission was clear: make torque delivery exceptionally smooth without sacrificing the raw power our motors are known for.

In previous versions, torque was strong—but not always predictable. There were subtle “bumps” in the torque curve that could cause tires to break loose unexpectedly, even mid-straight. For a while, I chalked it up to tire choice or setup quirks. But after deep testing with our team last year, we uncovered the real culprit—and TALON was born from that insight.

I also focused heavily on cooling. TALON features redesigned cooling slots—especially around the sensor end—to allow more airflow through the motor, keeping temps in check during long mains and high-load conditions.

Especially in the modified motor series, you’ll feel the difference: buttery-smooth torque from corner exit to the end of the straight, with control that inspires confidence lap after lap.
