4S Regenerative Discharger System (DX6)

This is a complete Regenerative Discharger (ReGen) system designed by RC Discharger and is works (in conjunction with a DX6 iCharger, charger not included) to cycle, condition, lower IR, and other performance enhancements for up to two 2S packs at the same time. It includes a compact stand (to hold the DX6 iCharger, ReGen device, integrated power supply, and battery), and cables.

All of the iCharger models (S6 & X6 can do one 2S pack) have had this capability, but gathering all the extra parts, cables, regen power supply packs, power supply, etc. is an adventure! Unless you also have a stand, the DX6 charger and the ReGen device takes a lot of space when laid out when you do it yourself. Then adjusting the myriad settings to make your new system work is another day of study.

RC Discharger ReGen system here has everything you need (except iCharger) in one box, including a power supply (you do not need an extra power supply for the iCharger) and iCharger DX6 adapter. There is some soldering required to add a power connector to the DX6 power input (XT90) cable from the ReGen system (we can do that before we ship, choose option below). When used with the DX6, you can charge, discharge, cycle, condition TWO 2S packs at the same time, at much higher rates than available in the standard DX6. Other models, such as X6 and S6, can do a single 2S pack only and requires a different ReGen system (send a request and I will quote you).

This unit may be used with other duo iChargers (308, 4010, etc.). The difference is the mount holding the iCharger in place on the unit (our system shown here has the DX6 mount already installed, no extra cost). If you desire to use a different duo iCharger model, choose from the extra cost option below and we will acquire the appropriate mount (NOTE: A different mount will take seven business days from date of payment to obtain and is additional cost, see below for options).

Regenerative Discharger usage directions and specifications:

• Cycle Mode: Utilize only the “Cycle” mode on your charger. This mode automatically discharges and then charges your battery. It helps maintain battery health and balancing cell voltages.
• Storage Mode: At the end of the day, switch to the “storage” mode. This mode maintains the battery at an optimal voltage level for storage. It’s especially useful when you won’t be using the battery for an extended period.
• Single Battery Per Car: For optimal performance, dedicate one battery per car. Avoid alternating between multiple batteries. This consistency helps maintain balanced cell voltages and extends battery life.
• Avoid Excessive Discharge: Do not use several times in a row on the “Discharge” mode from your charger.
