Welcome to the Nathan Dean TEAM Edition of the modified R7 motors. The TEAM Edition is much like the COMP Edition, and has available options such as several rotor models, ceramic bearings, and track characteristics selector to help determine the most favorable timing.
But in the TEAM Edition, we search for best combination of stator, rotor and sensor board, testing each combination until we have parts which are very 'happy' together for best performance! This is a tedious process, requiring many builds, teardowns, and testing until we get that right combo.
- All Nathan Dean TEAM Edition motors are built in our Oklahoma City shop under strict rules developed by Mark Fulton to assure the best overall performance. Mark inspects every Team motor built as well as confirms the specs to which the motors are tuned.

Overall Information for all editions:
- More efficient cooling area design compared to R5-R6 motors.
- More efficiency and 10 degrees cooler running than before.
- New 'Dense Core 1.5' stator architecture.
- Light weight motor structure using aluminum in the can design.
- The motors come with premium NSK R2ZZ steel bearings: 3.125mm ID, 9.525mm OD, 3.967mm wide.
- All motors come with new sensor cable, TPP decal, and Internet links to assist setup of the motor.

I purchased a Team 8.0 and and was expecting to be a touch down on power. Not the case with this motor. Have ran team power motors in the past and felt they hit to hard on lower end. This new 7 series has a smooth power band. Will be running Team Power in all my cars soon.
Excellent torque smoothness to get you out of the corners without wheel spin. I was able to capture a win the first race out with this. I highly recommend following the TPP gear chart.
