Description
These adapters are very handy when you are ready to get more power into your Traxxas vehicle with the stock Traxxas ESC. Upgrading to higher spec LiPo packs when you compete in classes such as the very popular Mud Boss series is easy and painless with this adapter. Now you can take any 2S LiPo pack with a female Deans style connector and integrate into a Traxxas vehicle! Buy two so you have a spare!
NOTE: Traxxas stock ESC will show an error if you install a HV LiPo pack charged to 8.7v (HV full charge). If your car will not run, reduce the pack voltage to 8.4v or less!
The 'Extra Length' style is quality made with a male Deans style plug on one end and a Traxxas style female connector on the other, it is about 4.5" (~105mm) in usable length, weighs 12g. It uses 14-gauge wire.
The 'Performance' style is a direct connect setup using a male Deans connector to female Traxxas connector. This style is the shortest and most direct connection with the lowest resistance, light weight. Weighs 8.0g, 38.5mm long when plugged in (46.7mm overall).
