Description
Description
Adjusting rear weight bias for changing track conditions is an important tuning aid. There is a variety of methods such as brass hubs, brass arm inserts, etc., but Ron Free thinks there must be a faster way to make a change.
Using carbon fiber construction, this mount is attached to the rear arm as shown for a solid connection. A screw is used to retain the weight; multiple holes in the mount allow you to slide the weight in and out. If you want to use brass weights, TLR makes a set (TLR331041) which already has a tapped hole in the weight making this a ready to use solution. Or you can save money by doing a little work by using DragRace Concepts steel weights (DRC-702 or DRC-701); you will need to drill and tap a hole in weights to attach to mount.
NOTE: NO weights or screws are supplied with this mount. They are available separately from several sources.
