Rocket Sprint Car Headers

We thought long and hard whether to manufacture sprint car headers when many other shops have their own designs out there. They are slow to make when you want a nice 'look', but we have many products we make every day to maintain reasonable stock levels.

Ron Free has been testing his own rendition of Sprint headers for a while because many designs lack 'survivability' during race sessions. And he has learned what will add to this ruggedness through track time in full heats!

1. Stability is important to protect the headers and the Lexan body. The small black rectangles are used on the inside of the body as 'backup' to spread the screw pressure over a wider area, saving the Lexan from premature cracking.
2. In another picture you see the exhaust exit end of the header and find another support point for the 'tail end'; this also assists in protection of the header itself. Use a wide washer on this screw to distribute the screw pressure over a wider area on the Lexan.
3. With a long piece and multiple holes to line up makes installation a potential problem. But with every header kit a drill tool is provided (orange colored 'L' shape) to make this less painful to get the installed look just right!

The Rocket Header Kit has all the parts as shown in the pictures. No hardware is supplied. Use 4-40 button head screws, 1/4" long, for best results.
