After a year or two not doing repairs, I am back with extra help to do repairs quickly again (about two days).
We can repair the most common iCharger failure: blown fuse group. Anything more technical we cannot do as we do not have access to repair manuals or their special parts. But if you have a 308, 406, 4010, 456, 458, 4512 or similar iCharger models we can probably repair the charger if the fuse group has failed (at this time we do not work on X6, X8, DX6, etc. model chargers). We MAY be able to repair other charger brands and models; choose the 'None' option, pay the inspection fee and return shipping fee, and send it to us for inspection. There is always a $5 inspection non-refundable fee if cannot repair the charger plus the return shipping fee. NO GUARANTEE on the repair other than it will work when it is completed and tested by us in our shop.
REPAIR OPTION SELECTION
- None: If you want us to troubleshoot only, select this option, pay the fee, and ship to us (address below). The charge is for the testing and shipping charge is to return the iCharger to you (you are also responsible for the fee to send to us). Please put return address, phone number, and the service you want us to do in box. We will contact you about status and problems found.
- Repair to OEM Status 1 Channel: If one channel will not charge, select this option, pay the fee, and ship to us (address below). The charge is for the testing/repair and shipping charge to return the iCharger to you (you are also responsible for the fee to send to us). Please put return address, phone number, and the service you want us to do in box.
- When we receive the iCharger we will confirm problem, and then do repair on ONE channel only.
- The repair process includes replacing all damaged components so you may have complete original system (as much as possible), use of all functions including regenerative charging/discharging, and charging/discharging at maximum rates (40+ amps for several models).
- Repair to OEM Status 2 Channels: If two channels will not charge, select this option, pay the fee, and ship to us (address below). The charge is for the testing/repair and shipping charge to return the iCharger to you (you are also responsible for the fee to send to us). Please put return address, phone number, and the service you want us to do in box.
- When we receive the iCharger we will confirm problem, and then do repair on BOTH channels.
- The repair process includes replacing all damaged components so you may have complete reliable (as much as possible when using high rates) use of all functions including regenerative charging/discharging and charging/discharging at maximum rates (40+ amps for several models).
- Repair 1 Channel - w/Socket: If one channel will not charge, select this option, pay the fee, and ship to us (address below). The charge is for the testing/repair and shipping charge to return the iCharger to you (you are also responsible for the fee to send to us). Please put return address, phone number, and the service you want us to do in box.
- When we receive the iCharger we will confirm problem, and then do repair on ONE channel only.
- The repair process includes replacing damaged components and installing sockets on one channel (so in the future so you easily replace them without tedious soldering and potential circuit board damage). All functions will be available BUT charging/discharging at rates over 20a may blow internal fuses more frequently. We have limited space to install sockets, and this option restricts the ability to charge at the design rates (40 amps plus on many models).
- Repair 2 Channels - w/Socket: If two channels will not charge, select this option, pay the fee, and ship to us (address below). The charge is for the testing/repair and shipping charge to return the iCharger to you (you are also responsible for the fee to send to us). Please put return address, phone number, and the service you want us to do in box.
- When we receive the iCharger we will confirm problem, and then do repair on Two channels.

Initial trouble shooting iCharger "Big Box" chargers is straight forward for detecting blown fuse groups, although not definitive until we complete internal testing. The error message displayed on a charger channel will be like this one, "Check your wiring and connections":
- Thoroughly examine your wiring, bullet connectors, standard connectors, etc. for breaks in the wire. The best method is to try a different, known good, cable and see if you may charge with it. If it works with another cable, then the problem is the cable, not the charger. If it is shown to be the charger, then we must have it to determine if we can repair it.
- Confirm the LiPo pack is not damaged. Attempt to charge the pack on another charger first. If the LiPo pack charges on another charger, then we will need the charger to determine if we can fix it.
